Kathleen Gerenger, a Proud Alumna of Villanova University

Kathleen Gerenger knew from early on that she wanted to pursue accounting professionally. During her early days as an undergraduate at Villanova University, Kathleen Gerenger studied accounting very diligently, and was a model student. This did not escape the notice of the faculty at Villanova, and when she graduated, Kathleen Gerenger did so with honors. Kathleen Gerenger earned her BS in Accounting from Villanova, which was an important step in building her career.

After graduation, Kathleen Gerenger obtained her CPA in Pennsylvania, and began her work as an accountant. Kathleen Gerenger strongly values the time she spent at Villanova, as she began to build a career that would span many years and lead to employment at many top firms and companies, and for which Kathleen Gerenger would receive many honors for being a standout among those in her profession. Because Kathleen Gerenger considers her time at Villanova to be so formative for her current career, she is a proud member of Villanova’s community of alumni. Kathleen Gerenger has been an active member of the Villanova Alumni Association for many years, and enjoys taking part in many of the charitable events that the Alumni Association supports.

Through her work with the Villanova Alumni Association, Kathleen Gerenger has helped out with local food banks, soup kitchens, and food drives ‒ all part of the Alumni Association’s effort to end hunger, a goal Kathleen Gerenger strongly believes in. Kathleen Gerenger knows that without her time at Villanova, she would not be the successful accountant she is today. Because of this, Kathleen Gerenger hopes to make the excellent education she had available to others. Kathleen Gerenger has taken significant steps to make a Villanova education more affordable for students. Kathleen Gerenger has contributed $20,000 to the Villanova University Alumni Association to offset tuition costs to students, like she once was, who are just launching their education and careers.
